This unique restaurant in San Francisco opened in 1972 and is situated in the historic Jackson Square district in an old brick warehouse that withstood the great San Francisco earthquake. The restaurant features three separate dining areas, divided by living green plants that appear as if growing up from the floor. Perhaps most spectacular of all are the four trees towering up from the planter wells to the skylights.
