Razz's Restaurant and Bar has been selected by Esquire Magazine as one of "The Best New Restaurants of 1996." Gourmet Magazine places Razz's as one of the top 20 restaurants of 1998 in Arizona. Razz has also appeared in Food & Wine Magazine, Bon Appetit, Spirit in-flight Magazine and The New York Times.
Actively involved in the community, Razz frequently participates in a variety of culinary events. Razz and Bobbi Jo created a fund-raising event for the Center Against Sexual Abuse called "Pleasures of the Palettes" Involving many of their friends from the national food scene. Past participants include chefs Jeremiah Tower, Hubert Keller, Rick Bayless, Daniel Boulud, Todd English, and Bobby Flay. The event has been selected as the best fund-raising event in the Phoenix area annually for the Center Against Sexual Abuse. They are also members of the culinary advisory board for Metro Tech of Phoenix, a vocational institute with a culinary arts program for at risk high school students. |
