"I was born and raised in New Iberia, the heart of Louisiana'a Cajun Country. The Patout family has lived here since 1828 and has been in the restaurant business since 1917. I was fortunate to have been named one of the top ten chefs in America by Food and Wine magazine in 1985, Restauranteur of the Year by the Louisiana Restaurant Association in 1984, and inducted into the Who's Who of Cookin in America in 1987. It is with this background and credibility that I bring to you, what I believe the finest in Cajun food.
