Legal Sea Foods welcomes Harvard Square residents and visitors. Mere steps from University grounds and the hustle and bustle of “the Square,” the restaurant is favored for its relaxing umbrella-shaded patio tables.



According to designer Peter Niemitz, “The intent was to create a warm neighborhood-style bar and restaurant that evoked the humbler elements and simple styles of the original Legal Sea Foods in Inman Square. Low ceilings create a mellow tavern feel, and finishes include stone, brick, dark oak, stucco, and Mission-style copper light fixtures.”
