ENO, Atlanta’s true European Mediterranean inspired restaurant and wine bar, or “enoteca”, has come to epitomize European-Mediterranean quality of life in Atlanta. This 95 seat restaurant and 30 seat wine bar with wrap-around sidewalk café is located in Midtown Atlanta, the city’s fastest growing and trendiest in-town neighborhood. Eno is the realization of Doug Strickland’s life dream to create a quality fine dining restaurant and casual enoteca or wine bar that imbibes the slower, more relaxed pace enjoyed by many in the Mediterranean. ENO takes on the chic energy of its Midtown location while exuding a very cosmopolitan sensibility.
Now in our seventh year ENO is flourishing as it “re-invents” itself with a fresh contemporary approach. As a constant work in progress, we are continuously raising the bar from a food, wine and service perspective. The cuisine at Eno focuses on authentic, extremely high quality Euro-Mediterranean ingredients and flavors, and simple preparations. Our menu represents a balance of both classical and contemporary presentations.
At ENO the beverage program is devoted to artisan producers, grower-producers, biodynamic, organic and self sustaining producers. We are careful to offer high quality-price ratio wines and spirits. We view wine as a food product and pair each of our menu selections with a wine forming a synergy that heightens the dining experience. While educational in our approach to wine our attitude is “live and let live!” Our goal to serve in a friendly professional and un-intimidating manner.
The art at ENO is curated by Timothy Tew, of TEW Galleries in Atlanta. ENO’s chic cosmopolitan feel owes a great deal to its impressive contemporary art collection enhancing its surroundings on view as smartly designed French doors wrap around the restaurant’s glowing interior. Eno’s owners Doug and Brenda Strickland have designed a space that is immediately both intimate and spacious with open glass doors and cozy corner dining spots. The restaurant offers multiple private dining possibilities for groups ranging from two to 120.
