Housed in charming historic buildings on a quiet side street in downtown Palo Alto, this northern California branch of Spago is situated in an idyllic setting. As you enter the restaurant through a shaded garden courtyard you encounter beautiful terraced patios which separate the buildings into three distinct dining environments. In addition to outdoor dining, guests can choose between the casual pavilion that has a bar and a retractable roof, a cozy cottage which has a wood-burning fireplace and the main dining room featuring Wolfgang’s signature exhibition kitchen. The bold design was created by the renowned Adam Tihany in1997 and features contemporary art including a superb piece by Robert Rauschenberg. Chef Aram Mardigian’s creative American cuisine, influenced by Asia and the Mediterranean, offers guests an exciting and diverse dining experience.
